Having a grand and memorable wedding day doesn’t have to cost you a fortune. So if you’re planning for yours but on a tight budget, there’s no need to worry. You can have a low-cost wedding without looking tacky. Continue reading to get some helpful ideas on how you can come up with a dream wedding without spending too much.

Months before your grand day, use the internet as a resource for most of the things you need. Drop by various stores and auction sites on the net. You can find great deals, from wedding gowns, pillows for the rings, favors for the guests, decorations and the likes. Shop around as early as possible, to give some time for the auctioning to finish or for the deliveries.

You may ask your guests to provide help and services, instead of handing your gifts. For example, your best friend who can sing well can be your wedding singer. Or a relative who got a DSLR can be the official photographer. When hunting for cheap wedding bands for men and women, ask around for recommendations. The same is true when looking for a baker who can make and design a stunning cake that doesn’t cost too much.

There’s a way you can rent a place for the wedding and reception at a fraction of the cost. Rent when the demand for the place is low, such as during weekdays or Sunday nights. But why rent when you can have a place for free, such as in a garden in a relative’s place? Or how about in a public park with a stunning backdrop?

Don’t feel pressured to invite everyone in the office or neighborhood. Each time you add someone on your invitation list, your budget increases dramatically. Go after a more solemn event by inviting those only closest to you. Speaking of guests, you can save a lot of money if you can do the invitations themselves. Get your creativity sharpened up and design your own invitation.

There are little things that your guests will fail to observe. For example, the sleeve of the groom’s tuxedo will cover his wrist. So there’s really no need to drop by a classy men’s watches store to purchase an expensive one. Even with the decorations and flowers, there are things that can be done to save money. The bridesmaids each can have a rose, and the bride can have a small bouquet instead.

Finally, look your best by not being too stressed about everything. No matter how well you have planned everything, it’s not unlikely for slight mistakes to show up. Looking happy and glowing is an important indicator of a truly memorable wedding. Get tips from beauty magazines, such as how to get rid of acne, lifeless skin, eye bags, excess weight, etc. Everyone’s attention will be on your glow, and not on the slip-ups.
